The Carriage house was perfect for the two of us. Home was beautiful and clean. Everything was within walking distance including restaurants, shopping, beach, and the four pools in our neighborhood. I would definitely be back and rent a bigger house for the entire family. It would have been nice if Royal Distinations had written information on items we needed to bring with us such as coffee filters, iron and board, salt & pepper, paper products. Also, it would have been nice if there had been a list of restaurants in the area and maps how to get there. We were able to pick up magazines in retail establishments. Because we stayed a week it would have been nice to have this information.

The location is nice, but the house needs some improvements. There are hardly any kitchen essentials like a baking sheet and a pizza cutter or even a decent size cutting board. The place stays very humid to the point where my medicine tablets were soft and damp. They need a fan in the bathroom. There is one tiny mirror in the entire place which makes getting ready difficult. The coffee pot leaks all over the countertop. The bed was broken when we arrived although they did fix it. Several of the bikes were broken as well. On a positive note, the sofa bed was comfortable and the large closet space was nice. The place was clean, but the dampness made it uncomfortable. We have stayed in the main house of this property a few years ago and it was nice, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. It could be fine for a couple, but not for a small family.
