Picturesque cottage on the lake available for rental in the most beautiful months of the year. Quiet, peaceful with great fishing and wildlife to be seen--eagles, osprey, hummingbirds, loons, deer and the rare moose! Clean and newly updated. One hour north of outlet shopping in Freeport, ME and one hour 15 minutes north of the great city of Portland, ME. Plenty to do on a rainy day--board games, local movie theater, bowling, restaurants, museums and much more. Spring, summer and fall are all beautiful times of the year to be our guests.

Beautiful cottage on a clean quiet pond - more like a lake than a pond. Area & neighbors were quiet, very few boats, cottage was super clean & beds were comfortable!! Jody is a super host. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to relax and swim !!!

Lovely property with a very available and communicative host. I went to summer camp in Belgrade Lakes as a kid, and this brought back a lot of memories. Really iconic Maine cabin-on-a-lake experience. East Pond is perfect size, with the sun just exploding into the porch every morning (unless you draw the blinds!) and the loons calling every night. Pristine waters for swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, or just rocking on the porch in grandpa mode, watching the lake change moods throughout the day. Easy enough to get provisions as needed, but isolated enough to feel totally relaxed and unbothered. Highly recommended.

Such a beautifully appointed house! We came with our three grown children and loved everything about this property, but having family breakfast and dinner at the dining room table overlooking the lake was the highlight of our stay here. We kayaked and canoed, we grilled, and we cooked every day—the house has everything you need. We have stayed in many a great rental property and have had really good hosts over the years, but Jody was the best of all—so responsive and kind, went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. We look forward to coming back to this gorgeous area of Maine soon!

This cottage is extraordinary. Owner maintains property beautifully, supplies are stocked, cottage is clean and the view of the pond is amazing. Kayaks and life vest available to use. This was a peaceful restful vacation that my friends and I enjoyed.
