Rotonda West is a deed restricted community of mainly single family homes located on the Cape Haze peninsula just south of Englewood in Charlotte County in SW Florida.
Rotonda West is laid out in the shape of an incomplete wagon wheel with over 20,000 acres of greenbelts, fairways, ponds, lakes and 23 miles of waterways made up of seven distinct subdivisions (spokes in the wheel) comprising Oakland Hills, Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, Broadmoor, Long Meadow, White Marsh, and Pine Valley.
In the center of Rotonda West off Parade Circle there is a community park with tennis courts, nature trail, childrens play area and BBQ. It is approximately a 20 minute drive to Englewood Beach. There are five golf courses within Rotonda West - The Palms, The Hills, The Links, Long Marsh and Pinemoor).
Thirty miles of picturesque canals, lakes and ponds wind through the community and offer fishing and boating opportunities for its residents. We enjoyed staying here as it was quiet and relaxing. The house was well equipped and the pool was quite nice. The only downside was the game room wasn't really a game room as there were no board games and the dart board didn't work and was falling off the wall. Overall we were happy with the house and would return again.

House was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and plenty of space. Liked that the outside area had enough space for lounging in the sun as well as plenty of shaded area to enjoy.
We had 6 of us staying in the house and enough room for all of us.
Good location for getting in and out of the circle.
Few minor things...owner's car was in the garage, which we were not made aware of. While not a deal breaker for us, it was a bit of a pain, since we visited in the summer. Only 2 beach chairs (also 2 camp chairs, which aren't the best for a beach). Would be helpful to have a pump to blow up the pool floats. We ended up using only the one float that didn't need inflating (our lungs just weren't up to the other ones 🙂)
Would recommend this house and stay there again! Thank you for having us!

We loved the house in a nice quiet neighborhood. Having a pool was great to come back to after being at the beach all day. House was clean lots of space. We will definitely come back again!!

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was a wonderful layout. Very comfortable and decorated so very tastefully! Well stocked home. Truly everything single thing you could ever want/need and more…we were blown away by this. The pool was enjoyable and the view was amazing. So peaceful. Great location!!! Close to the Tampa Rays spring training facility and the Braves spring trading facility where our boys were in a travel ball tournament. When we ventured out we found several good restaurants nearby. The best part of the location was being less than 10 miles from a fabulous beach…Englewood Beach. We would stay again!
