Perfect for wildlife viewing, this quaint home sleeps 10 and provides an array of amenities. Beautiful property! Very clean with lots of built in outdoor seating. Right on the river. The steps down were not too bad but you definitely get a leg work out coming back up. Plan before you head down to minimize trips. We had 6 adults, 2 children and an infant in our group. There was plenty of space for everyone. Large family room and kitchen was perfect for our group and the high chair and pack and play made it really nice. The downstairs bedrooms get a little warm at night but if you leave all the room doors open it helps a lot. Pack light weight blankets in the warmer months. The window unit A/C in the second floor master works great. You might want a heavier blanket if you’re staying up there. I got cold but my husband said it was perfect. The kitchen has just about everything you’ll need as far as dishes and appliances but bring a blender if you want to mix drinks. The kids had a great time at the river and there is plenty of space for littles to play but also some deeper spaces for the adults to jump in. My grandkids already want to go back and we just left. Property management takes their time going over all the details for the property and are quick to respond if you have any questions. All in all it was perfect for our family trip. The only regret I have is not being able to stay longer.

We had a very relaxing stay. We love birding and there were plenty of birds to see/hear off the deck. Also, the duck could gates could be closed off to keep our dogs in place while we sat outside which was a plus. There are A LOT of steps down to the water, keep this in mind if you bring little ones or elderly. The water was low, we only went down twice and didn't stay long. As the rental says; bring sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. If you want a nicer meal in town, make a dinner reservation at Leakey Drug. Garner State Park is super close and Lost Maples is about 45 min away.

Loved the private access to the Frio River right in our backyard! Great outdoor space for grilling and sitting out by the fire, looking at the night sky! Garner State Park and tubing on the Frio is a short distance from the house! Great time with friends and family <3
