You can walk almost anywhere you need to go - honestly. Should you need to travel further, Ubers / Lyfts / taxis can be caught right outside your door within 1-2 minutes for a very fair price due to your already centralized location.

We loved the location and unit! Communication was great. The only downside was the furniture. The living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable and a couple pieces were broken. The beds were comfortable but the bunk bed was loud and rickety.

Excellent location, near public transportation and within walking distance to restaurants and sights along Michigan Ave. We enjoyed our one week stay. Unit has been updated but the building is older, so be aware that the floors transmit heavy step sounds to the unit below. Same can occur with the unit above. Experience city sounds and birds in the morning. May be a good idea to pack earplugs. Dan is an excellent host!

Good location, but cleanliness and maintenance need improvement.We loved the location, it’s safe, walkable, and close to public transit and shopping. The unit was also spacious for the three of us, which we appreciated.However, the space does feel older, and several areas could use better cleaning and upkeep. There was a noticeable odor from the furniture, and many pieces felt fragile. We noticed a lot of dust on the vents and heater, along with dried contacts and hair on the floor that were clearly left from previous guests. The rugs were also very dusty, which made the space feel less clean overall.This rental has potential due to its size and location, but it really needs deeper cleaning and some updates to feel more comfortable.
