Three-plus bedrooms, three-bath waterfront home. Semi-secluded cove, extra lot for family outdoor games. Hot tub with a view of the water, islands and mountains. Freshly painted, new wood floors and windows.
Tastefully decorated with local artwork. Elegant and simple. Two queen-size beds with down comforters, (also non-allergenic available) one queen-size futon, and one single bed. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. Dining table seats six. Bar stools seat four. BBQ supplies provided for briquet BBQ. Kid and pet friendly.
PETS: MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Maximum one pet - must be under 20 lbs and non-shedding. Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding and are $30 per night.
VRBO placed an AI generated description on the first page that indicates we have a garden and kayaks. We do not. Hopefully this will be corrected soon. AI also indicates we offer massage in the "spa." Not true. We offer an outdoor hot tub.
Vacant lot next door offers further privacy as well as extra parking. There is a vacant, broken house on it. We are not responsible should someone enter and harm themselves.
ABSOLUTE QUIET IN HOT TUB AFTER 9:00 p.m. Noise is amplified by the water.

La Conner offers shopping, Tulip Festival in April, Art's Alive in the fall, The Farm Festival, fine restaurants and antique shopping. Nearby Anacortes offers hiking trails and kayak rentals. Great walk at Kukutali Preserve two miles from the house.
We are kid and pet friendly but we are not childproof nor pet proof. Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Hot tub is not fenced. We are not responsible for accidents on the property, use at your own risk.
The adjoining lot (for your use) has an access-way to the beach that is public. Occasionally, rarely, it is used by the public. The stairs are rough. Use at your own risk.
Tippingrock is located across Skagit Bay from the Whidby Island Naval Air Station. The navy/air force practice formations during the week. Sometimes they are over La Conner, other times they are further south or north and we don't hear them. They do not fly Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. Some folks enjoy the formations, other don't like the noise. We want you to be informed as we never know when, or if, they will be flying (except NOT on weekends.) It is usually a dull roar in the distance but since the Iran war, it has become more noticeable.
You will receive directions and key information from VRBO's "Welcome Guide" 3 days before check in. Please review directions we send as GPS can get you lost.

Our recent trip to La Conner was nice. We met friends and rented this property together. This property, while it has a nice view of the water, has LOTS of stairs inside and out. This can be an issue with older travelers like us. Everything was fine just not amazing like some of the reviews we read. Not what I would call super clean. Also, one day when we were out, someone came by and unlocked that door leaving it ajar. We know someone came by because the chairs outside were moved from where we had left them. We found that disconcerting.All in all the house was fine but felt it was a bit pricey for what we got.

The house was located in a beautiful part on the outskirts of Laconner Washington. The water from the bay came up and down to the house daily. It was awesome. Saw bald eagles, deer and rabbits. Fabulous location, visited Anacortes, a couple of different times easy commute. Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, cozy. Girls trip and we all loved it. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows squishy. Which I love.

Gorgeous water view from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Very nice deck and hot tub overlooking the water. Kitchen was nicely stocked so meals were easy to prepare. We enjoyed watching the birds, bunnies and the tides flow in and out in front of the house. Beautiful sunsets!! A big bonus, we loved the eclectic collection of art in the home. We hope to return to this fabulous home.
