Very cute little place. Very remote. River was peaceful and relaxing. Beds very comfortable and cozy. Hot water was quick. Stairs up were a bit steep for me. I’m 77 with 2 replaced knees. Washer and dryer a bonus. No disposal. Front porch swing was a big bonus. Lots of games to play. Host was very responsive. Even enjoyed a nice long chat with the neighbor !!

Such a quaint, cozy cottage! We absolutely loved our time in the mountains and getting to explore West Jefferson. The river was perfect for fishing and the area was super peaceful and exactly what we were looking for.

Super clean and comfy. All the Ashe County and New River vibes. Dip your toes in the river steps from the front door. Very nice and super hosts.
