Gallows Point Premium Suite 8C is a spectacular 1BR, nestled ocean front on a 5-acre resort on the wonderful island of St. John, U. S. Virgin Islands. Gallows Point Suite 8C is truly a romantic get-away perfect for honeymooners and lovers. Designed in charming West Indian architecture, Suite 8C overlooks the aqua blue Caribbean and looks out towards the island of St. Thomas. The sunsets are spectacular, and by evening the glittering lights of St. Thomas are the perfect romantic back drop. Suite 8C is luxuriously designed and appointed. For families, the living room has two queen sleepers to accommodate up to 6 people.
There is excellent snorkeling at your doorstep, in addition to an oceanside pool, an oceanside hot tub, 2 tanning decks, and private hammocks. You are a 3 - 5 minute stroll into the restaurants and shops of Cruz Bay.
Some of the most magnificent ocean vistas in the world, are yours to enjoy from the modern comfort of a splendidly furnished interior. Sapphire blue seas, distant emerald isles, and breathtaking tropical scenes are your panoramic vistas from the elegance of this Ocean View Upper Suite with full kitchen. Gallows point has it all. Beautiful property, pool, hot tub, views. The condos seem a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate staying here again.

Hi all,
I’m fortunate to travel frequently for both work and pleasure with my family. Each year we pick a new location to celebrate Thanksgiving together. This year was St John.
We absolutely LOVE this island and find the locals to be welcoming and pleasant. Unfortunately the first part of our vacation was spent at Gallows Point unit 8C that I booked via VRBO.
First the pros- the location is excellent to town and viewing the sunset from your own terrace was perfection. The restaurant Ocean 362 ( had Thanksgiving dinner) was delicious! Service top notch!
The cons- the villa was dated abd DIRTY!!!
When I reached out to the owner, his reaction was insulting saying “ it’s our top rental and have had little complaints “.
My opinion is - one complaint of unsatisfactory conditions should be addressed. I even told him that I would share pictures showing dirt, dust, uncleaned toilets, hair, rust etc. you would think during Covid protocol would increase the level of sanitation.
We couldn’t wait to leave!!
My kids even commented that it was the worst place we have stayed in 18 years!!!
