Anouk was very friendly and extremely responsive to any issues, thank you Anouk. The location for the buses and trains was good. The bed and room were super comfy. The Riviera card provided was excellent for free trains, buses and discounted entry to the various attractions we went to.
There are two main reasons for our overall score. Firstly, it is not obvious from the listing that the guest house rooms are directly above a busy café and therefore noisy at times. In addition, although obviously not within the control of the guest house, we feel we should have been made aware of the major reconstruction work happening directly in front of the building. This involved diggers/trucks starting work at 7.30 each morning! Had we known this in advance, we would not have stayed here.

Lovely & comfortable with a fabulous location! Bed was very firm which we both liked. Slept with the windows open & it was very quiet. (Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the back.)

Check-in at 1pm. Spacious room. Very clean. Great location. Quick response from host.
It was very noisy on Saturday night. It was hot, so we had to open the window. We couldn't sleep because of the noise.

Guest House Le Charlot is very conveniently located, close to the train station and a variety of restaurants, and it offers a beautiful view of the lake. The room size was great for two people and included all the main necessities.
Although the room had the main necessities, many of them were in poor condition. The fan was falling apart, the fridge kept leaking water, and the bathroom bin was rusted. Additionally, we could not use the overhead shower or the handheld one separately, as both ran at the same time. I’m not sure why these relatively low-cost improvements have not yet been addressed.
