We have come to Lake George for many years but always camped on the islands. We've had some health setbacks so that wasn't going to work this year. We stayed in this truly lovely home for a week and had a lovely time.
We didn't enjoy Bolton Landing as much as we expected to, but that's mostly because when we go to Lake George we like to swim and boat with the total freedom that living on an island offers.
What I'm trying to say is that if the location was even a bit disappointing, that was mostly due to our incorrect expectations.
We should mention though that the tops supermarket was wonderful.
The only negative about the house was getting the hang of operating the ceiling fans in each room.
Overall the place is great and these people are delightful to work with.

This was perfect for our 3 families totaling 9 people. There was plenty of space and the back porch was wonderful. Walking distance to town was great because we didn’t need to find parking for 2 cars. Would definitely rent again.
