Take full advantage of the outdoors with a large private swimming pool not overlooked where you can relax in complete tranquility. The living rooms of this gîte are designed for your comfort and relaxation. The cottage is classified Furnished Tourism Comfort 4*. You will find a comfortable living room with a large sofa, a large TV as well as a NETFLIX account for movie nights. Also enjoy a Cévennes fireplace in season for a gentle blaze. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare your meals: oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you might need for a pleasant stay.

This gîte is easily accessible by car, 1 hour 15 minutes from the A7 motorway exit, 1 hour from Montélimar train station and around 2 hours from Nîmes airport. You can park directly on site. The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (numerous exterior and interior stairs, height differences, parking far from the house)

We (my 3 children and my parents) stayed at PG’s House and had a wonderful vacation. The house is charming and old as we like it to be. The vue is amazing. The house has everything you need and it’s filled with brochures about the area.The pool is situated above the house and there are a lot of stairs which makes it difficult if you have problems with you physique it will make it hard. But we loved it.

This is a really characterful house which has been very tastefully modernised, but it does present a few challenges.
The house is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the shower rooms more than adequate with excellent water pressure. The covered balcony is a wonderful place to sit in the shade and there are lots of other areas to sit in either sun or shade around the property. The pool is glorious with lovely views over the surrounding countryside and plenty of loungers. There is a fridge beside the pool if you want to be able to keep cool drinks right to hand.
There are a couple of drawbacks to the property which I don't think are fully obvious from the pictures. The drop from the road down to the parking area is very steep and, if your car has low clearance, you won't be able to take it down. We couldn't and that leaves you with a very steep walk followed by some very irregular steps between the car and the house. The pool is also a fairly steep walk with irregular steps from the house, so you can't just pop out of the house and into the pool. The upstairs bedroom really does have low headroom; I am 161cm tall and could only stand upright right around the bed so I did hit my head quite a few times.
However, if you are fit and can cope with these minor issues, this is a lovely property in a lovely area. And the area as a whole is very well equipped if you drive an electric car; we had no problems at all with charging.
