Welcome to the Perche and to our family home. This is a village house with a beautiful garden for young and old and overlooks a meadow typical of the Perche hills. We have four chickens in the garden who are very sociable.

Located between Paris and the Normandy coast, the Perche is a paradise for lovers of authenticity. With its magnificent villages and stone mansions, its centuries-old forests, its rivers full of fish, its landscapes with gentle hills, its typical markets and delicious restaurants, embark on an unforgettable experience!

With access on the street side in an adorable village located near Bellême, the house overlooks a magnificent green setting of 8000m2 planted with trees and peace. The garden part includes many seats (hammock, etc.) and a swing. There is also a meadow with fruit trees (apples, walnuts, chestnuts, hazelnuts) which extends to a small stream.

The terrace is fitted out and equipped with a large table for about 8 people, a round table for 4 people, outdoor armchairs, a rocking chair, a gas barbecue and a chest containing outdoor games.

The house is located in a village located less than 5 minutes by car from Bellême, a beautiful little town to discover absolutely!

The house is the old grocery store of the village united with the former farrier's workshop. Its layout is ideal for kid-friendly stays, with family or friends.

The house consists of the following rooms:

"La Maréchalerie" (Dining room / Lounge):

Former workshop of the village farrier, the salon has an unusual architecture for the region with a cathedral roof more than 7 meters high, a large functional fireplace and a church beam supporting the mezzanine.

The table can accommodate up to 12 people. There is a very large sofa and many armchairs. Two baby high chairs are at your disposal. We hope you will have a good time there.

The fireplace can be used to make a beautiful blaze but should not be used for food use, especially because of the fragility of the ashlar and for safety reasons. We have prepared a small supply of wood to the left of the fireplace for about two fires. If you need additional wood, we invite you to get it in the local supermarkets (e.g. Carrefour de Bellême).

The staircase to the first floor is old and quite steep; it is equipped with a child safety gate.

"L'Ancienne Épicerie" (Room n°1 – First floor on the street):

With a standard double bed for two people, the Ancienne Epicerie is located on the first floor and overlooks the main street of the village. Its period checkerboard floor and designer furniture make it a cosy and modern room with a vintage air. It is necessary to go through this room to access the toilets on the first floor and the Master bedroom (which is also accessible via the terrace).

"La Master" (Bedroom n°2 – First floor overlooking the courtyard):

Located on the first floor overlooking the courtyard, the Master has a queen size bed for two people. It is accessible from the terrace or by crossing the Old Grocery Store. It provides access to the toilets on the first floor. With a view of the terrace and the garden, you feel like you are in a small haven of peace.

"La Panoramique" (Room n°3 – 1st floor left overlooking the courtyard):

Located on the first floor on the left at the top of the stairs, the Panoramique is equipped with a king size bed for two people and offers a magnificent view of the village church and the terrace. Calm guaranteed!

"The Bucolic Dormitory" (Room n°4 – 1st floor right):

The Bucolic Dormitory is located on the first floor on the right at the top of the stairs and has three single beds. The Dormitory offers high ceilings with exposed beams. The Dormitory is a room open to the corridor through which you can access the bathroom and toilets. Many children's books and a teepee are available to children for evening reading. This is a through room allowing access to the La Champêtre room.

"La Champêtre" (Room n°5 – 1st floor at the back right):

La Champêtre is equipped with a standard double bed. With a green décor and antique furniture, it is calm and soothing. With an exposed framework, it is accessible through the Bucolic Dormitory.
