Welcome to Mountain Lake 502C — a top-floor penthouse perched directly across from Big Sky Resort, with sweeping views of Lone Peak and room for up to 10 guests across four bedrooms. This is one of the most well-appointed condos in Big Sky, and the location proves it.
The primary suite sets the tone: a king bed, soaking tub, dual vanity, and walk-in shower. Three additional bedrooms — two queens and a bunk room with a twin bunk and queen — mean everyone has their own space. Every bathroom has a hair dryer, and the gas fireplace in the living area makes après-ski feel effortless.
The Mountain Lake Complex delivers resort-level amenities: a year-round hot tub, fitness center, and a recreation room stocked with billiards, ping-pong, a game table, and more. The outdoor pool opens in summer, typically from July onward.
In winter, 5,800 acres of terrain are a 2-minute drive — or simply hop on the Skyline Shuttle, which stops right outside the complex. In summer, Big Sky Resort transforms into a mountain playground: ziplining, mountain biking, archery, scenic lift rides, and kayaking on Lake Levinsky. Blue ribbon fly fishing on the Gallatin and Madison Rivers and a day trip to West Yellowstone are all within easy reach.

In the summer, enjoy all the warm weather activities of Big Sky Resort including ziplining, mountain biking, hiking, archery, scenic lift rides, and kayak/SUP on Lake Levinsky. Experience blue ribbon fly fishing in the Gallatin and Madison Rivers, or boating/kayaking on Lake Hebgen, all within 15 minutes to an hour from the condo.
In the winter experience the "Biggest Skiing in America," with 5,800 skiable acres! Since this condo is right across from the Resort, don't worry about the morning 'hassle' of getting ready for the slopes. Just jump in your car, drive about 2 minutes, and park in the large 'Free Skier' parking lot at the base of the Resort. Don't have a vehicle? Not a problem. The Skyline Shuttle will pick you up right outside the Mountain Lake condos at the stop sign. If you have more in mind than skiing, you're just minutes away from Spirit Of the North's Dog Sledding that will take you all around Moonlight Basin!
Amenities at the Mountain Lakes condos include a pool (summer months only), hot tub, gym, and recreation room with billiards table, ping-pong table, flat-screen TV, game table, Wii and Wifi. Big Sky Resort has a small grocery store, shops, bars, restaurants and outfitters. Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day
Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Summit View was an excellent base for our annual family skiing retreat. With four bedrooms and bathrooms, our multi-generational family had room to spread out and still spend quality time together. The view of Lone Peak from the spacious living area was wonderful and we really appreciated the "on call" shuttle service that whisked us to the lifts every day so we didn't have to worry about finding parking on the mountain.

Easy check in, plenty of information regarding condo and area. Condo well equipped especially the kitchen, spacious bedroom and bathrooms and plenty of room in the family room to gather. Stunning views!

It was an amazing place with an amazing view of the mountain enjoyed waking up to that every day the place was gorgeous and the attentiveness of the property management office answered all our questions quickly never had to wait. Highly recommend.
