Orchard Cottage is perfectly positioned, within the grounds of a quintessential Cotswold Country House near Tetbury, overlooking the orchards and beyond. A charming Cotswold cottage, decorated to a high standard, the bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom. The reception room has high beams and a round porthole window, stylish and comfortable. Badminton Horse Trials and Westonbirt Arboretum a stone's throw away. Bath nearby.

The little cottage was beautifully clean with a comfy bed and quality furnishings. The kitchen is tiny but is well equipped and has all you need. We had amazing weather and really enjoyed sitting outside on the little patio enjoying the stunning views of the gardens to the main house and surrounding fields. There are also lovely walks you can do around the village.
The only issue was the Internet was very slow and so we couldn't use the smart TV other than for normal channels. You also definitely need to use 'what 3 words' to find it as there is no name on the drive in or the cottage itself. The postcode just takes you to the village.
Overall we loved it and would definitely stay again.

Our stay was perfect, the cottage has exactly what you need, and everything works as it should. Beautiful location and very easy to find with the What3Words.

This is a superb location and wonderful accommodation with excellent facilities, especially the kitchen. We have visited several times and love to stay there.
Just a couple of very minor things we noticed this time. They didn't detract from our enjoyment but perhaps they could be fixed. The water flow from the hot tap in the bathroom sink is very poor. The TV remote was not working (we tried new batteries) and this was quite inconvenient as we would have liked to watch something in the evening. A bulb on one of the bedside lights needs replacing ( there wasn't a spare to replace it)..

Unfortunately I can't recommend this particular cottage . After reading some of the other reviews before booking they were quite mixed & I now understand why. The accommodation & decor is a bit tired looking & certainly not spotlessly clean . Also, the 'wide angle' photos give the impression of a much more spacious cottage & outdoor area but in reality that isn't the case. This is also described as a perfect accommodation for horse lovers which is one of the main reasons that we booked this particular cottage. On arrival there wasn't a horse in sight & we found out they were in a field across the main road so we couldn't even enjoy watching them grazing as we tried to relax in the little garden area. What we did get however was hundreds of crows in the trees directly above the accomodation. The noise was unbearable & being awoken at 4 in the morning with dozens of birds running across the roof was the deciding factor in us vacating two days early. I can appreciate that some of these aspects are totally out of the owners control & the service & communication from Stay Cotwsolds was very good but overall we were left disappointed.
