We had a wonderful stay at this property in Galena. It was immaculately clean, extremely well stocked, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Communication on the check-in process was easy and we experienced no issues at all while staying there. I would definitely recommend this property for a couple planning a trip to Galena.Besides the wonderful shopping and restaurants in town, the countryside was beautiful. The property is a few miles out of the main center of town and it was quiet and peaceful. I thought the price was very reasonable as well as we looked at many other properties to stay at through VRBO.

The property was as listed and very clean when we arrived. This is a great place for relaxation. One issue was when the above unit used the fireplace, our unit would fill up with the smell of burning wood and we had to open up the sliding glass door to create a vacuum and move the smell out. The second issue that occured was when the furnace kicked on there was a pinging sound up in the duct in the middle of the house. While not noticeable while talking or watching TV, trying to fall asleep was strenuous to the point of us buying a fan to drown out the noise.
