This adorable sea side cottage located on the pebble beach of SW Harbor is literally over hanging the water at high tide. A second floor master king suite with private balcony, bath, wet bar and refrigerator has a magnificent view of the harbor and mountains of Acadia National Park. The second bedroom is a queen suite with private entrance to the first floor balcony. Just 2 miles to Seawall Beach of Acadia, an easy bike ride or walk for many. Some may not leave the cottage at all and just watch the boating activity from the large relaxing decks. If you do explore the island, you'll find many beautiful hikes, shops, restaurants, golf, museums, cinemas and more .

I am very picky about rentals so I thought it would be helpful to leave a review for others interested in this property! I was very pleased with the cleanliness of this home. It felt new and clean. Zero complaints. The location is very nice for the SW Bar Harbor area. Hinkley next door was never a bother. A little over a mile to the little shops/restaurants in the area. Short drive to Bass Harbor Lighthouse and charter fishing. Very short drive to some local hikes (we enjoyed Wonderland and Ship Harbor). We drove to Bar Harbor and Acadia for hiking and e bike rentals and it was a very easy 30 min drive. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this house for anyone interested in staying the area. The host was also quick to respond to any questions - check in and check out super easy. Also to mention, our kids really enjoy crab hunting in the evenings when the tide would come up.

What an amazing location and a perfect house for two couples. The views of the ocean are amazing and having it near a working boat yard was really cool. The most underated aspect is being located in Southwest Harbor. There is not a better area on MDI for food, hiking, and sunsets.
