Everything about renting this villa for two weeks was easy, smooth, organized and well communicated. Just after paying our final payment a few weeks before our trip to Florence, Carlotta sent us so many details about restaurants in the Bagno a Ripoli area by the Villa and Florence proper. Wonderful choices!The check-in information and communication was very thorough. At check-in, Giocomo met us at the villa, carried our luggage upstairs for us, and gave us a very thorough tour of the property. He was so very helpful throughout our stay. Always pleasant, always responsive. The owners very thoughtfully stock up a few essentials for guests, which is so considerate and greatly appreciated. Milk, fresh eggs, bread, butter, water, fresh fruit, coffee and a bottle of Chianti. If you’re exhausted from traveling, there’s no need to go grocery shopping right away. It can wait a day. The villa is truly gorgeous and incredibly well maintained. The bedrooms were inviting, roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. This villa was an extraordinary place to bring our family together in the hills outside Florence. We cooked many meals at home taking advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed local restaurants the other nights. We would rate this rental a 15 out of 10 if we could. It was all we hoped it would be. Gorgeous home in a beautiful setting.

The villa is in a breathtaking setting where we watched beautiful sunsets from the olive grove & saw stars at night but was a short drive into Florence. The pool was lovely after a hot day in the city. We were conveniently near vineyards for wine tasting. The villa was perfect for our family of adult children & us. We ate several dinners in enjoying the wine we discovered during the day. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The manager was very kind to supply us with a few items to start our visit. The beds are very comfortable & the bathrooms are well appointed. We enjoyed spending time in the living room at the end of the evening. Carlotta was a great communicator & gave us excellent advise before we arrived. Pack bug spray if you are visiting during the summer & a pair of slides or flip flops will come in handy walking down to the wonderfully clean & tranquil pool. Do walk through the olive grove to enjoy a spectacular sunset with the Duomo in the distance. We will definitely return!

We could not have had a nicer stay. The Villa is absolutely beautiful. The interiors are exactly as shown on the website -- they are simply beautiful. The location is super: far enough away from all the crowds in Florence's city center, yet close enough to drive in for dinners or visit museums. We were in town to visit with family, and it was the perfect location. We would happily stay again.
