Idyllic, quiet, and conveniently located, the vacation home is just over an hour’s drive from Munich. Together with four other houses designed by a local architect, it forms a self-contained ensemble on the outskirts of the vacation village of Vorauf in the Feichten district. Siegsdorf, known beyond the region for its spring water and the Mammoth Museum, is about a 10-minute drive away and can also be easily reached on foot or by bike. It offers shopping opportunities and a train connection. Another 10-minute drive away is the county seat of Traunstein, with numerous cultural institutions and restaurants. The center of Salzburg can be reached in just over half an hour. The winter sports resorts of Ruhpolding, Inzell, and Reit im Winkel are also located in the immediate vicinity.
The Chiemgau region offers a diverse selection of sights, hiking trails, and recreational activities for all ages. Lake Chiemsee, with Herrenchiemsee Castle, ski slopes, water parks, and traditional Bavarian taverns, is easily accessible by car from the surrounding area. Cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing right on your doorstep.

The Rainer family warmly welcomes you to the “Kleeblatt” vacation home. We built it in 2020 and, until recently, used it ourselves as a respite from the hustle and bustle of the big city of Munich. We enjoyed it so much there that we now live permanently nearby in beautiful Traunstein and are renting out the vacation home as a retreat in the Alpine foothills.
