Inside you'll find a peaceful, luxurious dog-friendly haven in which to recharge your batteries ready for your next adventure. Step through the porch into the entrance vestibule and you'll immediately feel yourself relaxing. Two sets of glass doors through to the snug and the breakfast room beyond mean that even the older, original parts of this house are light-filled and bright. The snug has armchairs and sofas to relax in in front of a wood-burning stove set in the beautiful stone fireplace. The breakfast room beyond, with its french windows leading out to the garden, is an inspiring space irrespective of the season.
Beyond this is the well-equipped kitchen at the heart of the house, with all the additions you would expect in a house of this quality. Doors lead out to the garden again and to the utility room (with direct garden access). A couple of steps up take you to the large main living room with separate seating areas, French windows through to the garden and a second wood-burning stove.
The garden is a particularly special feature of The Hideaway. You'll find lovely flagged areas, outdoor sofas and a barbecue and paths lead through to spaces worthy of any secret garden with mature planting and delightful herbaceous borders. Over the stone wall stands the beautiful 700-year-old Church of St Mary's and St Nicholas which is well worth a visit.
Also on the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Also downstairs you'll find the fifth reception room - the large stylish dining room which is the perfect place to get the whole group together in the evening. There is also a ground floor walk-in shower room.
Upstairs, on the first floor, you'll find four spacious bedrooms - three with king-size beds (one of which has an ensuite shower room) and one twin room (the beds can be made as a Super king double on request). There is also a family bathroom with a slipper bath on this floor.
On the second floor you'll find the eaves bedroom which has full-size twin beds but due to the limited headroom may only be suitable for children.

What a fabulous property. I said to my friends, don't look at the outside..no kerb appeal but when you walk through the door...you get the wow factor. It's like a tardis! One well presented beautifully furnished room opens up into another beautifully furnished room. This house has everything that you could possibly need, from a formal dining room to a breakfast room in the conservatory. The snug or the larger sitting room. The outside space with all the different configurations of tables and chairs. The lovely bedrooms some en-suite the others with modern bathrooms. Loved the furnishings/decorations. Perfect house for a large gathering of friends. We simply had the best time. Thank you.

Lovely house but had a few issues with cleanliness and general maintenance of house and garden.
Letting agents were as helpful as possible but several problems really spoilt our stay.
