Everything was clean, shower was good, basic room but provided all the essentials.

Breakfast is rubbish if you're veggie, £15 and your options are hash browns and baked beans. Rooms are small but do the job.

Nothing not to dislike

We stayed previously in August and it was a lovely stay with helpful staff so we thought we’d stay again to break up a long drive North. It’s nicely located and our room in August was comfortable. It’s clean and modern.

There isn’t much sound proofing of the room and the other guests were not considerate, slamming doors and talking loudly late at night and early in the morning. The thermostat for the shower was problematic either rather too hot or freezing with barely any movement on the knob, one of the bedside lights wasn’t working. The worst part was being woken over an hour before checkout time by the cleaner banging hard on the door. We reported this to reception and while he agreed it shouldn’t have happened he didn’t offer much in a way of apology.
