Our family of four spent 10 unforgettable days at this one-of-a-kind cabin on Rome Island, and we can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in serene natural beauty—peaceful, quiet, and absolutely magical. We saw eagles, cranes, herons, woodpeckers, baby fawns, and even nesting snapping turtles! The outdoor shower with hot water came in handy for rinsing off our dog after a swim, and the washer/dryer helped us stay on top of beach towels and swim gear.We grilled out, made s’mores by the campfire, and even ordered pizza from Romanos across the lake (which tasted extra
