Summary:
The apartment is located in the heart of Porto, in one of the oldest and most emblematic streets of the city, Rua das Fontaínhas.
Inserted in a totally rehabilitated building, it maintains the old traces of the 19th century, typical of the historical area of Porto.
Fully equipped apartment, it has a careful decoration where comfort is felt in every stay.

Beautiful studio, with living area, kitchen, full bathroom and a balcony, located in a great area of Porto!!

Entering the flat, there is the bathroom, kitchen and then the living room where we have a sofa bed and a table where meals can be served. In the kitchen you can find all the necessary utensils to prepare a meal (various pots, pans, dishes, etc.) and a kettle to serve tea or a coffee machine. It is equipped with a microwave, oven, glass ceramic cooking plates, dish washer, kettle, etc. The room is also served by a plasma connected to several national and international TV channels.

The bedroom has a great queen size bed with carefully selected bed linen to provide the best moments of comfort during a well-deserved night of sleep.

Located in a very genuine area of Porto, 2 minutes away from Poveiros Square, many groceries shops, pastries, local shops and restaurants. Supermarket is also located a step away from us.
Main attractions are within walking distance from our location.
Metro is within 10min walking from us and it goes direct to the airport!

Getting Around:
If you Arrive in Porto by PLANE- AIRPORT FRANCISCO SÁ CARNEIRO.
It is possible to get to the city center by our Transfer service, metro, bus or by car/taxi.

From Porto Airport- Francisco Sá Carneiro- take Metro Line E in direction to Estádio do Dragão. Get

Between 6h00 AM to 8h45 PM, take Bus 602 direction Cordoaria.
From Cordoaria, head down to Avenida dos Aliados*.

From the Campanhã Railway Station (located outside the city center) you can take :
Metro Line A in direction to Senhor de Matosinhos, Metro Line B, in direction to Póvoa de Varzim,
Metro Line E, in direction to Aeroporto, or Metro Line F, in direction to Senhora da Hora.
Get off at Bolhão Metro Station (image 1). Once you get out of the station, it's a 10min walk to the apartment.

The apartment is in a good location, Ideal for two people, close to variety of shops and restaurants. Easy access to everywhere on foot.When we had a problem with the shower hose it was immediately sorted out.

While the location of the property was very good and the host was very helpful and readily responsive to our needs, the noise level from the street traffic was quite disturbing. And because there was no air conditioning and we had to close all the windows, the apartment was quite hot making sleeping at night uncomfortable.
Installing an A/C unit would make the property ideal for a short stay.

Super clean property within walking distance of most anything. The apartment was larger than i thought and well furnished. The representative was there to meet me, answer any questions and give solid recommendations. I had a rental car -- so i was thrilled to find a place with parking.
The only negative: it rained a lot while I was there -- but i don't blame the apartment owners :)

Location was great
As many other guests have noted, unit is located on a very busy street, hence lots of traffic noise
Unit is pretty well as described, however, absent from unit was a comfortable chair as depicted in VRBO photos, leaving one very uncomfortable pull out couch.
Also, the knives provided were super dull and in need of replacement along with the addition of a bread knife and a pair of scissors
Hosts were quire communicative however did not deliver or replacing above mentioned items at all during our week long stay
This is why I have given an overall rating of 3
