The Space:
Welcome to Fripp Island and this Newly Renovated Sunsuite! You will not only be a few steps from the beautiful pools, The Beach Club, Island Bites, and tennis courts, but our incredible beach is only steps away! This unit is located right in the center of Fripp!
This Sunsuite is equipped with a kitchenette featuring a small refrigerator with a freezer and a small stove, a queen-sized bed and a set of bunk beds, a full bath with a tub/shower, and outdoor seating.
New TV set up with cable and streaming capabilities. There are laundry facilities on the 2nd floor of this complex.
Your 4-legged companions are more than welcome to join in the island adventures, as this home extends a warm invitation to dogs (with an additional pet fee), ensuring that every member of your family can create cherished memories on Fripp Island.
Guest Cards Included:
Also included in your rental are up to 4 guest cards! These cards are required for access to all resort amenities, including restaurants and bars, pools (open year-round), golf, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, and more. For current hours of operation, please visit our Hours of Operation page on the Resort site, as some hours adjust seasonally. Guest cards offer exclusive access to discounted rates on golf and tennis.
Your unit is stocked with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.
Take advantage of the many amenities that Fripp Island has to offer. Fripp Island features a multitude of food and beverage options for your enjoyment. With two championship golf courses, five pool complexes, 12 pickleball courts, six tennis courts, and three-and-a-half miles of uninterrupted beach, Fripp Island is an unspoiled treasure. The island also has a full-service deep-water marina, bicycle, paddleboard, kayak, boat, and golf cart rentals available.
Fripp Island is a designated wildlife sanctuary and is home to many whitetail deer and other wildlife. You will be sure to see them as you enter the island gates.

The keyless entry lock on our rental unit’s door would not work—at the end of the day on Saturday with 2,10 and 11 year olds plus 2 adults wet from the beach and sandy because the showers coming off the beach near our unit did not work. The property manager sent a repairman—and he was tremendous. However—he worked on the door lock for over 2 hours without success and finally literally used a crow bar to force the lock to break and let us in.
He profusely apologized for the inconvenience. I have waited to hear from the property manager as well—perhaps offering some small refund or something for the fact we sat in the dark with 3 kids—to no avail.
I stay at Fripp every year in a beachfront home with the rest of my family and have NEVER experienced beach showers and door locks that don’t work. I’m somewhat disappointed to have not heard anything from management. Not sure I can recommend staying in this part of Fripp resort again.
