The Neighborhood:
The coveted Fullerwood neighborhood is close to the Fullerwood park and has multiple tasty restaurants and hang out spots all in walking distance. Dos coffee is a trendy coffee shop that has tasty pastries and wine too. For desserts, hit up Creme da la Cocoa. The Trolley pickup, Fountain of Youth, and the Old Jail are all easily reached by foot!
Getting Around:
A 1 minute walk up the road and you will be at Dos Coffee – one of the trendiest, and tastiest coffee and wine shops in St Augustine. Across the street, is Crème de la Cocoa – all the rage in St Augustine when it comes to sweets and baked goods.
Kitty corner from these shops is the red Trolley pickup. Get yourself a trolley pass for the day and you can hop on and off at different areas of St Augustine and not have to worry about the craziness of parking downtown. Also, there are bike rentals within a 1 minute walk of the house. There are multiple modes of transportation to get to and from the Marsh View Ranch.
You are less than 2 miles from both Vilano Beach, and St Augustine downtown. Take your pick or just spend the weekend here and never leave.
St Augustine has so much offer, the Marsh View Ranch is the perfect jumping off point to get the most of out of your visit. With plenty of live music, world renowned restaurants, beach and downtown settings, as well as exclusive wine and beer offerings, St augustine is sure to satisfy even the most sophisticated traveler.

Safety:
The hallways are lit with photosensor nightlights, so you can see your way at night when moving throughout the house. Attached at each photosensor light is an emergency, battery pack powered light, that can be detached and automatically turns into a flashlight. There are multiple escape routes throughout the house that are listed at the bottom of this handout. There is a motion sensor light over the main driveway as well as in the backyard (this one can be turned off).
Below the sink is the fire extinguisher, as well as the first aid kit.
The firepit has a metal grate that at the end of use must be placed back on in order to avoid kicking off embers. There is a hose attached to the house that stretches and can easily reach the firepit area to douse the fire before putting the grate in place.
You will be given a code that only is available to you, it will be given to you 24 hours prior to your departure and is deleted and invalid within hours of checkout.
The Marsh View Ranch is a fantastic place for families and children of all ages. While it is family-friendly, it is not child-proof. Furniture is not bolted into the walls, and drawers and cabinets are not equipped with child safety fasteners or locks. Ultimately, you accept responsibility for the safety of all guests including children

The house itself was good. Quite a few spiders outside the property that at least one made its way inside. I stepped on it with my bare feet not realizing that’s what it was until after, thankful it didn’t bite my dog. The construction around the property was quite an inconvenience. We had to move our car to a lot about half a mile away for 2 days of our stay due to construction. Made it very difficult to haul items from our wedding venue to the home after our wedding.

Our stay was amazing. The house was in perfect condition with great proximity to historic district and St.Augustine beach/pier. The hosts were quick with responses to any questions prior to check-in (which was great since we arrived on a holiday), and even would checkin periodically just to ensure our trip had zero issues. I want to personally thank them for making this trip one to remember! 10/10 recommend the house and the hosts to anyone looking for a great place to stay in St. Augustine!

I was born and raised in the area. We wanted to come back to visit family and beaches. The house was a good location in a peaceful neighborhood. The owner was very nice. This still gets an average rating. We have stayed in many rentals as a family. This one wasn’t terrible, but definitely lacked the details of an amazing rating. Cleanliness was our main gripe. It wasn’t very clean. Stains on comforters and sheets, trash under one of the beds upon arrival, crumbs stuck in the table cracks that have lived there for a long time. The dog wash station had a broken hose handle and no shampoo (owners reimbursed us for shampoo bought), the kitchen has 1 rag and lack of storage containers, the stove top had a broken burner, the Xbox is broken, a light bulb was out in the kitchen, empty bottle of lighter fluid and a broken light just sitting outside in the yard, and lack of storage in the primary. Just general things that could be improved if the owners stayed in their property so they could add a few details to make it more comfortable. We had to hand wash utensils and pots prior to use due to them not being clean. They had extra pillows, but not enough pillow cases. It was interesting because the neighborhood is so well taken care of it was a bit unexpected. But, we enjoyed being close to the beach and to my family.
