Welcome to A Perfect View!
This beautiful, refreshed cabin has been completely repainted and has new beds and mattresses. Whether you are looking for complete relaxation, delicious restaurants, hiking, or antique shops, our home is close to it all!
This two-bedroom, dog friendly cabin is located at the top of the mountain, with a paved road! It is the perfect spot for a couple's retreat, friends' getaway, or family fun!
As soon as you walk into the cabin, you will be greeted by unforgettable mountain views. Step out onto the wrap around deck to take it all in! On the main level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs. We will provide a small starter supply of K-Cups for the Keurig. A gas grill is located off the kitchen. There is a queen bedroom with a shared full bathroom on the main level as well.
Walk up to the second-floor loft for the master suite. Sleep in a king size bed with its own full bathroom. All three TV's have a ROKU. Feel free to utilize YouTube TV, or log into any of your personal streaming services.
We know how hard it can be to travel with young kids, so we wanted to make it easier for you! Our guests will have access to a highchair and pack and play (just bring your own sheets and mattress topper if needed) and a baby gate. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you will need any of these items.
If you are traveling with your four-legged friend, feel free to utilize the food and water bowls up there. A medium dog crate can also be provided on request. Dogs will need to be crated when you are not there. Please let us know in advance if you will need any of these items. If you are bringing your dog, make sure to add that into your reservation as there is an additional fee. If a dog is brought and not on the reservation, there will be an additional charge.

Great view, very clean, and they provided everything we needed. I've stayed at cabins with stocked kitchens before, but I've never been somewhere that had such a fully stocked seasoning cabinet, along with three types of sugar and so much more. They also provided a pet gate and a kennel, which was incredibly thoughtful. We stayed in all weekend, so we didn't end up using them, but it was nice knowing they were available.A few small things could have been better. The outdoor furniture was a bit dusty, and we had to brush off some dust and spider webs before sitting down. It wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice if it had been cleaned before we arrived. Also, the upstairs bathtub drained very slowly. We just used the downstairs bathroom instead, so it wasn't an issue.On our second day, the fire alarm started beeping because the battery needed to be replaced. The hosts responded to our message promptly, and they let us replace the battery ourselves since sending someone out on a holiday would have cost us 75.Overall, it felt like we were borrowing a friend's cozy cabin. It was reasonably priced, charming, and well equipped. We'd love to come back and see what the view looks like in the fall!

We had a perfect stay at the Perfect View! The cabin is well kept with a fully equipped kitchen. One thing I really appreciate is the road that leads up to the cabin. Fully paved with no dramatic slopes or white knuckle switchbacks. That is not always the case for a mountain top cabin with a view! The living room is cozy. We slept great in the loft. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning. Our host were easy to communicate with. We will definitely recommend to our friends and would rebook if we are back in the area.

Very relaxing place with everything you need for comfortable stay. My husband particularly loved the comfy sofa. The location is conveniently located to Clayton, Otto, Franklin, and Scaly Mountain. Communication with the owner was superb and we will stay (if its available) on our next trip to the area.
