Excellent. Only issue was we could not manage to get the washer dryer to dry, but that was minor issue. Location and set up is excellent.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at the Bootham Urban Space.
The location is great and a secure parking space an added bonus. A Sainsbury’s local across the road and some pubs and eateries too. 5 minutes saunter to York Minster.
The flat is a good size, clean and has everything you need for a visit. The kitchen is well equipped and you have a dishwasher too. Living space is a good size as are the bedrooms. The beds are really comfortable. The windows are difficult to open but there are tips in the welcome book, if they stay closed you can hardly hear the traffic outside.
Downside- towel radiator in the en-suite wasn’t working (had a sign) but there is a washer/dryer if needed. And the sliding doors to both bathrooms can be difficult to get hold of if slip fully in open position so could do with another handle, the main bathroom one got locked closed a couple of times and isn’t the easiest to move.
Otherwise a perfect flat for a visit to York and we will return again soon. Thank you

The property is in a very central location and it is evident that money has been spent to create a high end feel to both the interior and exterior. However, there it ends. Small details were missed that you would not have expected. For example a lack of bathroom products, one small piece of soap for both the wash basin and the shower. The hospitality bag was for two people and we were a party of four. More disappointing was the standard of housekeeping. The dinner plates in the cupboard needed washing before use, the electric sandwich maker was stowed in the cupboard dirty. There was evidence of solidified butter all over the grilling plates. The cover on the ironing board in the utility cupboard was in shreds and the iron was rendered unusable due to the scorched debris on the ironing plate. In addition, there was a distinct lack of glassware, no tumblers or water glasses, only two lager glasses. G&T in a mug anyone? I am disappointed that a property that promised so much comfort & luxury fell so short of five stars.
