There are places that welcome us. And then, there are places that conquer us.

Get to know Chalet do Monte by Homie!

Hidden in the heart of the Madeira mountains, this charming chalet offers a refuge where comfort meets the serenity of nature. With carefully preserved traditional architecture and elegant interiors, the Monte Chalet provides an authentic island experience, ideal for those seeking to relax, explore, and breathe in the beauty of the Madeiran landscapes.

Upon entering, we are welcomed by a cosy living and dining room, perfect for moments of family or friendly gatherings. The fully equipped kitchen allows for preparing everything from small meals to complete dinners, while the indoor barbecue space invites prolonging conversations and sharing good moments. The three carefully decorated bedrooms ensure rest and privacy, complemented by a bathroom with a bathtub for total relaxation.

On the outside, a private and pleasant area invites you to enjoy Nature in all its splendour. From a morning coffee in the shade to a barbecue at the end of the day, each moment at the Chalet do Monte is a celebration of calm and well-being. A few minutes away, the natural pools of Porto Moniz and the Véu da Noiva Viewpoint offer unique experiences of contact with nature and unforgettable views.

The Chalet do Monte by Homie also provides Wi-Fi, free private parking and, upon request, car rental services or support in organising activities, so that each stay is tailored to your needs.

More than just accommodation, the Chalet do Monte by Homie is an invitation to slow down, to feel the rhythm of Madeira and to create lasting memories between the beauty of the mountains and the blue of the Atlantic.

Since 2017, we have been receiving travellers from all over the world on our beloved Madeira Island, with the commitment to provide memorable experiences and excellent service. We started as Madeira Sun Travel, a name that reflected the sun, comfort, and welcoming spirit that has always guided us.

Over time, we realised that we wanted to go further: more proximity, more authenticity, more connection.

This is how Homie was born. More than a new name - a new way of being.

Each stay is thought out in detail to be special and welcoming. Each house has its own story. And each guest is received like an old friend.

Beyond comfort and hospitality, we also provide, upon request, additional services such as car rental, activity bookings, personalised experiences and much more - all so that you can enjoy Madeira to the fullest.

Be a traveller looking for a special spot or a homeowner seeking someone who will care for your home with dedication, you are in the right place.
