Ponce de Leon Towers is a direct oceanfront complex with 62, 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium units with 8 floors. Though Ponce de Leon Towers sits on the driving section of New Smyrna's white, sandy beach, this oceanfront complex is just 100 yards from the car-free beach. Amenities include a seasonally heated pool, community room with pool table and ping pong table, shuffleboard courts, and bar-b-que area with gas grill.
Located in the heart of our friendly little beach town, Ponce de Leon Towers is only minutes from all that New Smyrna Beach has to offer. The condo was conveniently located and had a nice view of the ocean. It does need some updating. The living room couch was too soft and swallowed us up when we sat in it. The master bed however was very comfortable. I would update some of the cooking utensils as some of them appeared to have dried food or rust on them. The updated appliances were nice. We were lead to believe the washer and dryer would be in the unit but it was not. It is on the floor for all tenants/renters to use. The front door swelled when it rained making it hard to open and close. The key pad system on the front door didn’t lock every time. We sometimes had to try our code several times in order for it to actually lock. If you need to communicate with the property manager, you should call them instead of messaging them as I messaged a couple times and never received a response. For the price, it was ok but definitely needs updating.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the unit is clean and very spacious with all that you need to enjoy the beach and feel at home! Would definitely stay here again!

This condo is on the 6th floor with an excellent ocean view. The pool was great and there was easy access to the beach.
The condo itself was incredibly outdated but I knew that from the pictures. However, what I did not know is that the queen bed in the guest room was very uncomfortable. And, some of the towels felt like sandpaper. If they want to continue to rent this property, they need to invest in a new bed and better towels, linens etc.
