110 Shorewood is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, first floor villa that features a patio with a private staircase down to the courtyard below and the ocean! To the right of the entrance are the two bedrooms. The first room has two twin beds and a small TV with DVD player. It shares a bathroom with the hallway. The bathroom has a single vanity with granite counters and tub/shower combo. The master suite has a coral color palette and décor and has a king size bed and 32” TV. The private master bathroom has a single vanity with granite counters and shower only. The master bedroom also has beautiful views of the ocean and access to the covered patio where there is a high top table that seats four. Views of the lush landscaping and the ocean background make this a very tranquil place to sit and relax.
To the left of the entrance is the main living area. The galley style kitchen has blue countertops and a stainless steel refrigerator. There are two stools at the countertop. The full size washer and dryer is behind closed doors. The glass topped dining room table seats six. The living room has large sized windows that let in a lot of natural light. There is a tan sofa and love seat and a 32" flat screen television. You have access to the patio from this room as well.
The Shorewood Complex is a short walk away from Coligny Plaza (60+ shops/restaurants and a grocery store). Be sure to visit the Lowcountry Celebration Park, which is just across the street. This new, 10-acre park features the Sandbox Children's Museum, and the Adventure Playground, complete with a pirate ship and a wading pool!
South Forest Beach is one of the best places to stay on Hilton Head Island. The beautifully landscaped complex at Shorewood has an oceanfront pool with bathrooms nearby. There is also a baby pool for young ones to play in. Guests will enjoy that Shorewood is located very close to some great shopping, dining, and entertainment areas on Hilton Head Island.

We loved staying at Shorewood! I’ve been coming to Hilton Head my whole life and have never stayed here before. It was great proximity to the beach with also wonderful pool access. We were traveling with little ones and the pool was a big hit while being completely safe. Our specific unit could’ve used more bowls, but overall we had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location, steps from pool and beach. The first floor patio was nice with all of our beach stuff and toddler! As a few reviews have stated, the property was pretty clean but not the most clean I’ve experienced with a beach condo. I came prepared with some Clorox spray. We felt the floors were eternally sandy, even from check in. Yes it’s by the beach but still. Overall, I do think I would recommend this property. Check in was very easy and smooth. We didn’t have any issues with rental company.

Advantages of this property can be boiled down to location, location, location. Immediate beach access (including a patio that provides easy access); full, unobstructed waterfront view; nice pool and hot tub in complex; convenience to shops and restaurants. The unit itself also had a comfortable bed, great water pressure, and an in-unit washer and dryer. If this is all you care about, you can stop reading.
Otherwise, the condo was dirty and dated. We spent three hours sweeping, mopping, running dishes through the dishwasher, and airing out the unit. Crumbs were in the kitchen drawers, some flatware was noticeably dirty, and we swept up about a dustpan full of dirt from the floors (along with a cup lid and random Cheerios). After contacting the management company and sending photos, they did reimburse our cleaning fee, but it’s not how we wanted to spend our vacation time. Now that they have been notified, hopefully the management company will ensure this doesn’t happen to other guests.
Bottom line: if the unit is properly cleaned and location and development amenities outweigh dated finishes for you, I would recommend.

Beach Properties did a great job communicating and checking in.
The Condo itself leaves some things to be desired. The TVs are smaller than computer monitors; the bathrooms are incredibly outdated and barely generate hot water for a shower or bath; the washing machining is 2-3X bigger than the dryer so doing laundry is somewhat a time suck.
