There are places that welcome us. And then, there are places that captivate us.

Discover Black & White by Homie.

The Black & White is a welcoming apartment, perfect for two people seeking comfort, tranquillity and practicality in one of Funchal's most touristy areas. As soon as you enter, you find a carefully prepared space, with a welcoming double bedroom.

The living room, equipped with a sofa and television, is the ideal space to relax and rest at the end of a full day of sightseeing around the island, making every moment of rest truly comfortable.

The kitchen is fully equipped and integrates a dining area, offering all the comfort to prepare from an invigorating breakfast to start the day well to an elaborate dinner, perfect for ending special moments. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, and for greater convenience, the apartment also includes a washing machine.

The balcony is one of the highlights of the apartment: equipped with a dining area, it offers the perfect setting to enjoy a serene sunset or simply relax, observing the city surroundings and the Atlantic horizon.

The building complements the experience with two outdoor swimming pools — one of them suitable for children — pleasant landscaped areas, two lifts and private parking, ensuring that every moment of your stay is comfortable and worry-free.

The location is unbeatable: just 4 minutes from Lido, where the sea and leisure spaces meet, and close to restaurants (The White House, O Dragoeiro, Fora d'Horas, Local Bar), pastry shops (Momentus), supermarkets (Meu Super, El Chico, Pingo Doce), local shops, shopping centres and public transport within a few steps. Funchal Marina is 8 minutes away and Madeira International Airport is 30 minutes' drive away, allowing you to explore the entire island with ease.

Beyond all these attractions, the Madeira destination is internationally recognised for its awards: elected Best Island Destination in the World and Best Island Destination in Europe by the World Travel Awards in several editions, reinforcing the uniqueness and charm of your stay.

More than just accommodation, Black & White by Homie is an invitation to slow down, to feel the sea at your door and to enjoy the best that Madeira has to offer.

Guests are responsible for the proper use of the accommodation and its respective equipment. Damage, loss or misuse identified during or after the stay may be subject to the application of a damage fee, intended to cover repair, replacement or extraordinary cleaning costs.

Since 2017, we have welcomed travellers from all over the world to our beloved island of Madeira, with a commitment to providing memorable experiences and excellent service.

We started as Madeira Sun Travel, a name that reflected the sun, comfort and welcoming spirit that has always guided us.

Over time, we realised that we wanted to go further: more closeness, more authenticity, more connection.

That's how Homie was born. More than a new name - a new way of being.

Each stay is thought through in detail to be special and welcoming. Each house has its own story. And each guest is received as an old friend.

Beyond comfort and hospitality, we also provide, upon request, additional services such as car rental, activity bookings, personalised experiences and much more - all so that you can make the most of Madeira.

Be a traveller looking for a special spot or a property owner looking for someone to care for your home with dedication, you are in the right place.
