The home is listed for sale and showings may be scheduled during your stay. There are only occasional showings. If you do not want to allow showings, then please do not book this property. We will apply a $100 discount per showing, if we need to show the home during your stay.
Note: There are 2 parking spaces in the garage and 2 additional parking spaces in the driveway. There are an unlimited number of additional parking spots right across the road in the ski parking lot.
Our 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath, 2,900 square foot townhome (Alpenglow Unit 8) is the only 6 bedroom property at Purgatory Ski Resort and is everything you would expect from a luxury townhome. The townhome features multiple living spaces including, a main living space as well as a loft with Air Hockey and the 6th bedroom (Bunk Bed Room) also serves as a living space as it has a sitting area with a TV and Shuffleboard.
The home is ideal for multiple families as each bedroom has an attached bathroom and the bedrooms are spread over 3 floors. There are decks with sitting areas off the both main living space and the Master Bedroom and both the main livings space and master bedroom feature gas fireplaces. The Kitchen has stainless steel appliances and includes a bar with seating and opens to the great room and dining area, giving you plenty of space to relax and gather. The brand new private hot tub is located off the Master Bedroom on the 2nd floor.
Access to Lift 7 is less then a 1 minute walk from the front door of the townhome. Hiking trails abound in the millions of acres of the pristine San Juan National Forest. Explore mountain biking, backpacking, fly-fishing, hiking, four-wheeling, and nearly every other high alpine recreational pursuit directly out the front door. This townhome has an ideal location for both recreation and an unparalleled setting for mountain relaxation.

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

We so enjoyed our stay in your beautiful, clean condo! The host was very helpful, easy to reach via text and phone call concerning access to the heated swimming pool and gym. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate our family. 16 1 yr old. Thank you so much Mackey.

Our stay was great. We had 4 households staying together for a family vacation. Alpenglow fit our needs great! The kitchen is well furnished and the host was great with questions!! Also - the check out process was a dream. So much easier than so places we have stayed. We did pay the extra resort fee to access the pool and fitness center since we had several kids with us, and it worked out great. We went to the area without a huge list of plans so the location worked well for us to explore Durango one day, Mesa Verde one day, Ouray (highly recommend) one day and then the train to Silverton too. We also did family pictures with Haylee Fleck at Haviland Lake - check her out if you need family pictures - she was the sweetest. Overall we had a great stay and this location fit the bill for our crew of 14 perfectly!

Location was great. We visited Silverton for the July 4th parade and the children loved it. We went on hikes in the mountains and enjoyed the Purgatory resort activities.The property description was accurate regarding location, layout and amenities. The children liked the hot tub a lot.The carpet was dirty and heavily soiled. It needed cleaning.The sofas are cream colored as shown in the picture and also needed cleaning.The bar sat six but the table only sat 4 people so not set up to feed the maximum number of guests advertixed.
