The Alexander Hotel is a great property with lovely pools and beach access. Staff are fantastic, and the drinks and food are decent.The unit is large and comfortable, with a nice patio that has both beach and sunset views.As other reviewers mentioned, the finishes are dated. If you are planning on spending a lot of time inside or cooking multiple dinners, this might not be the unit for you. We spent most of our time on the beach and at the pool bar, so it suited our family of four just fine. My biggest concern with any rental is the mattresses, and this unit has comfortable beds. The sound proofing is excellent, too. Never heard any corridor noise.I would stay there again.

We had no issues with the host. He was always prompt with his responses and readily shared information. The room itself was okay however very dated and need some TLC throughout. The size was good for 2 couples - I would not recommend anymore than that. The bathtub in the primary bedroom was, to say the least, very difficult to get in or out of due to the bath surround. This to us is an accident waiting to happen. Also there are no towels rails or hooks to hang wet towels on. The kitchen is lacking in kitchen things and truly needs to be upgraded. The balcony is great with great views and the location of this Vrbo is excellent being right on the beach and boardwalk. The elevators are ridiculously slow. The outdoor areas were very nice for lounging.
