A light and contemporary pied-e-terre in a luxury Chelsea building. The flat is on the fourth floor of an iconic block which offers both a lift and 24 hour porter. From here you are seven minutes walk to South Kensington tube station and five to the King’s Road.
LIVING AREA
The living area is bright and fresh with wrap around windows and wooden flooring.
Wifi is provided by Hyperoptic fibre broadband, TV with Satellite channels plus a dining table and chairs for four.
BEDROOM
The bedroom offers a king size bed and a built in wardrobe. Quality linen, newly laundered and pressed, is provided for each stay.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is open plan to the living room and equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer and washer dryer.
BATHROOM
There is modern bathroom with a shower over the bath. Starter toiletries and fluffy white towels are provided as standard

South Kensington underground - 7 minutes walk, Piccadilly, District & Circle Lines - Zone 1.

The flat was comfortable and clean, and a pleasant place to rest between outings. Enjoyed having a microwave, refrigerator, hot water maker and kitchen sink.
My visit coincided with repairs to the building's water system? I was not affected much as I was out a lot. But the evening before I left, there was no running water at all. Thankfully, it was on again in the morning. Neighbors across the hall were a bit loud slamming doors, parties.

I liked: location (equidistant between two tube stations, and close to bus), and the fact that the flat is QUIET. I'm a solo traveler, and found the flat just right for my requirements.

After wrangling bags up multiple flights of stairs at many locations over the years, we love the fact that it has elevators it's a quite elegant and clean rental, nicely positioned for Sloane Square and South Kensington tube stops (not to mention King's Road). Good shower pressure and hot water. The fact that the block of flats (great Art Deco frontage) as a whole has a doorman means that taxis are always easy to call and one has a sense of greater security. Also love the fact that an outside keysafe means that there are no complicated meetings to set up to get the keys and it doesn't matter if the flight is delayed . . . .
Climate change has brought terribly hot days to London in the summer. Duvets are not great in this weather a nice cotton top sheet alternative would be good. One of us got many mosquito bites from sleeping without a cover with the windows open on a very hot night (it was only one mosquito but she's one of those people who attracts mosquitoes). A more high power fan would be good, too, in the absence of a/c..

Good location but shower leaked and heating inadequate. Bed stated in listing as king size but was very small.
