Our Cub Cave offers a quiet forest setting with hiking in La Pine State Park a few steps from the front door. Guest can bring one dog for an extra fee--no cats. This space is located beneath our home but is quiet and very private. Guests have their own entry, patio with fire pit, and most of the time we rarely engage with guests. We're available to help but give you space. We can sleep up to 5 guests. Internet and a smart tv where you can access streaming or watch Direct TV channels. 30 minute drive to Mt Bachelor through the back route which avoids the Bend traffic. Grocery stores and restaurants within 15 minutes in Sunriver or La Pine.

Excellent property.Note that it is not a full kitchen (no range), just electric kettle, griddle and air fryer.I would rent again.

The property is right next to a state park with a lot of space - a great place to exercise dogs! Also the neighborhood is quiet and worked well for us to walk our dogs in also. The Cub Cabin was very friendly with hard floors and good dog amenities throughout. We'll be back soon!

Clean property and the owners were fabulous! Excellent view of the river. Perfectly located near the state park.

The cub cave has all the amenities for a quiet, relaxing getaway - while having easy access to the state park for hiking, biking and river play. The hosts were responsive, shared local knowledge and kept a low profile. Would definitely stay here again!
