We really enjoyed our stay. Unlike most of the homes in this area that are located on a canal this one looks out on a lagoon off Corpus Christi Bay. It has two decks in back and we really enjoyed hanging out on the lower deck and watching the birds. The neighborhood was quiet when we were there (February and March) and the commercial area of North Padre, which is a short drive away, is also relatively small and quiet as compared to what I've heard of South Padre.The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The living room has a big screen TV and all of the bedrooms have nice TVs also. The first floor bedroom and bathroom are fine but smaller as compared to the two upstairs bedroom, each of which has its own large bathroom. There is also a nice office area upstairs that has two desks with monitors and a shared printer.The hot tub was nice and we made use of the kayaks that were made available to us by the owner.The owner was very welcoming and easy to communicate with.If we had one wish it would be for more comfortable seating. The living room can only seat 4 (with 3 on the couch). The dining room table is a high top with chairs that were not terribly comfortable for long periods of time (we like to play games). There were 2 nice lounge chaises on the deck but all the rest of the outdoor furniture were high top tables and chairs and not really suitable for lounging. But, seating aside, the home was beautiful, as were all the nearby beaches.

We loved our stay at this spacious and beautiful home with the best sunset views! The kitchen was fully equipped, which made us feel like we were almost at our own home. I didn't even need to bring any specialty cocktail glasses because they had them all!! The owners were very kind and gracious, and they know how to upkeep a vacation rental. Looking forward to next time!!!!
