Clean, modern, and very good ubication!

Our host Fabi was very responsive. Any question we had was answered almost immediately. We got a little lost on our way tthere and she ended up having to wait for us for checkin. She was very pleasant toward us despite our late arrival. The place was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed for the small amount of cooking we did. There was a faucet with purified water for drinking which we appreciated. The shower was nice and the AC and fans worked great. It was a 5-8 minute walk to the Romantic Zone so very convenient. It was a very hilly walk with many steps. We are 64 and 70 and are very active so that didn't bother us. What we didn't like was crossing over the highway in order to get there. There is no stop light and not much of a shoulder for walking several blocks North to the stoplights, so we had to cross the busy road multiple times per day and it made me anxious almost every time. We did learn how to cross more effectively as the days went on but the traffic comes from both directions quite fast.

Host is always amazing and attentive to any needs. The unit is close to everything and even a convience store nearby. High quality appointments in the unit and it has a full kitchen with all needs for cooking or reheating food

Please be advised - the unit is not located in downtown Romantic Zone. It is up on the hill across a very busy highway with no crosswalk, and is highly risky to cross. We tried to deal with it, and gave it our best, but after two close calls ended up leaving after 9 days and flying home 5 days early. I have asked VRBO to adjust the location on the listing, as other travelers have been misled as well. As for the unit, it is clean, well-stocked, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay again if it were in the area where I have always stayed (for the last 9 years) which is near the beach and town, but unfortunately it is not.
