❄️ Important winter information – Snow tyres / snow chains
In the Vosges Mountains, winter conditions can be harsh.
The use of snow tyres, winter tyres or snow chains/snow socks is strongly recommended — and often mandatory — when roads are snow-covered or icy (typically from November to March, depending on weather conditions).
This ensures your safety and may be required by local regulations during winter mountain conditions.
