This majestic ten-bedroom, four level home offers all the comforts of a mountain lodge. Named the “Blue Ridge Retreat”, this home is located near the top of the resort property nestled in the beautiful and scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Backing up to undeveloped national forest, the house offers breathtaking, 180-degree views of Wintergreen’s tree-filled mountains.
This spacious, beautifully decorated home was thoughtfully designed with your large group in mind, boasting a chef’s kitchen with a 48” dual oven range, dual refrigerators and dishwashers, and endless workspace to easily prepare large family meals. The dining room’s two elegant trestle tables provide the perfect space for a group meeting or to dine in a family style. Downstairs you will find spacious media and game rooms, each with its own refrigerator and bar for easy access to snacks and refreshments. For those looking to relax with a book in front of the fireplace, the cozy main-level living room boasts vaulted ceilings and beautiful views, while an upstairs mezzanine balcony offers the perfect niche for reading or a quiet conversation and a cup of coffee. And for those looking to stay active indoors, there is an exercise room with a large flat-screen TV and a new Sole treadmill, a new Sole elliptical trainer, a full set of dumbbells, and plenty of space for stretching and yoga. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and a flat panel television, and beautiful views of the surrounding woods. The home is beautiful and was perfect for a friend reunion. The kitchen was well appointed. One of the bedrooms had not been cleaned and was stripped. They brought sheets later. It was understandable in a 10 bedroom home. Check in was clunky. We had to check in at the resort and get hotel room keys. What we had already paid was not reflected accurately and caused confusion and delay. So, lovely home in a lovely area but a bit clunky with the administrative side of the rental.
Also, the description does not accurately describe the stairs necessary for EVERY gues. We had two guests other significant ambulation issues who needed to use stops to even get to whether they would be staying. There is an elevator to the 4 story house but locked and unavailable to guests. Our friends were stuck on one floor once we get them in and could not enjoy the other spaces the home had to offer.
