Relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the country in this comfortable home. The living area is all on one floor with an open floor plan. Spacious master bedroom and bath. Large kitchen with hardwood floors. Screened back porch and deck with views of the Peaks of Otter. Lovely front porch to sit and enjoy the sun rising over the pond, or cool evenings in the country. Only 5 miles to Smith Mountain Lake with access to boating, swimming and other water sports. Close to Roanoke, Bedford and Lynchburg for shopping, restaurants, museums and theaters. Historical sites nearby include the D-Day Memorial in Bedford and Booker T. Washington National Monument. Appomattox Court House is an hour away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 30 miles away.

This is a nice house with great views. The host was responsive and accurate. House was clean and comfortable. If you want to get away and relax, I highly recommend this place!

Perfect little getaway place for family. Relaxing homey and beautiful. The home was exactly the amount of space. We appreciated the kitchen area having a lot of space to move and work around each other. The outside area was used for playing bocce and cornhole, and the dining room table was big enough for the family to play cards and other games. We loved the views of the farm and the mountains. Hostess was amazing to work with!

We were there for a fishing tournament. fifteen minutes from boat launch. House was very clean and spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was very family friendly. After a day of site seeing at Poplar Forest and the D-Day Memorial we came back and played uno and games with our 11 yr old son. We also took a walk down the beautiful driveway to the neighboring church to read about its history. The home was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked w spices, dishes, cooking pans etc. We prepared breakfast and lunches but enjoyed diner out in Moneta. It was a great trip 10 out of 10. Btw: The ice cream from the local creamery is amazing!
