Beachside Couples Retreat at The Shores
Tucked beneath towering pines and overlooking a gently flowing creek, this renovated studio at The Shores offers a peaceful setting for a romantic getaway, solo retreat, or quiet escape near the water.
Enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the private second-floor deck, then follow the scenic boardwalk to 600 feet of shared sandy beach on East Grand Traverse Bay.
The studio sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa, a renovated kitchenette (no oven), and glass doors opening onto the private deck. Seasonal kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals are available nearby.
A note on the pool: access isn't included with the reservation, though a spa treatment at Grand Traverse Resort unlocks same-day access. Most guests spend their time at the nearby beach instead.
Every stay includes a bottle of Chateau Chantal sparkling wine plus local perks for wine tours, boat rentals, and yoga.
Grand Traverse Resort is about 5 minutes away, with downtown Traverse City 10 minutes further and wine country 25 minutes out.
Morning coffee on the deck, an evening glass of wine, and 600 feet of shared sand just a short walk away — this renovated Shores studio is built for slowing down. Come experience a calmer side of Traverse City.

Excellent!! We had a wonderful time.

We had a kind of rocky start with some issues maintenance had to come address, but they were very polite and made it right. The condo itself was nice and the location wasn't too far of a drive to Downtown TC.
