Lapad is part of Dubrovnik (actually the peninsula) situated just a few kilometers away from Old Town. The connection with an Old Town is very good and the bus goes very frequently. It is a relatively new part of Dubrovnik compared to the history of the Old town. In the past, it was the residence of local merchants and nobility but now it is becoming the biggest residential part of Dubrovnik. The majority of hotels and villas are situated in this part of Dubrovnik.Lapad, the area with lots of good restaurants, places to stay, pedestrian areas, and beautiful beaches with magnificent sunsets is one of the favorite parts of Dubrovnik. Not so crowded as in the Old Town but only 1o min away buy a local bus it represents the perfect place to stay.

Good stay, for less of the price outside the old town.
Would recommend for people trying to save money.
However some of the plug sockets were out of the wall and were unsafe.
The WiFi was also not great at the top floor of the location.

The location was convenient, being walking distance to old town but in a quieter neighborhood. The apartment was clean and cute. My biggest difficulty was the wifi was very bad, making it impossible to use. It is not possible to do any online work here. Overall a good spot if wifi isn't important to you.

Great host, perfect location and a clean place. What else do you need? Would definitely stay again.
