Nestled within beautiful greenery, the charming holiday home “Villa Maite” is located in Nerja, and it impresses guests with its stunning outdoor area. The 2-storey house consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms (2 with 2 single beds each, one with a double bed), as well as 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning (in the 3 bedroom), a washing machine and cable TV. A highchair and a baby cot are also available upon request. The absolute highlight of the property is its private outdoor area consisting of a garden with garden furniture and a parasol, a covered terrace, an open terrace with a balinese bed, a barbecue, a furnished balcony, a generous pool, an outdoor shower and even a jacuzzi. As you can see, “Villa Maite” leaves little to be desired and it is the perfect accommodation for a relaxed holiday surrounded by a beautiful landscape. In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, bars and cafes (400-600m; 5-6 minutes walking), while the closest beach, Playa de Burriana, can be reached after 23 minutes walking or 6 minutes driving(1.9km). The closest airport is in Málaga and it can be reached after 51 minutes driving (71.1km).

Pros: We really loved the pool, jacussi & day bed. Jose, our host, was very responsive & accommodating.
Cons: Unfortunately a pool was being installed in a neighbouring house with loud jackhammer noise spoiling several of our days. However Jose informed us of the standard building regulations (e.g. the times building work is permitted). And when we sent him a video showing they started working earlier he contacted the police who stopped the builders using the jackhammers completely so we were able to enjoy our last few days at the house.

The house is even lighter and more spacious than it appears in the pictures. The communication with Maite, the owner, was excellent. Very comfortable house, good beds, well equipped . We loved the garden too, so well looked after.

We had a fantastic 10 days in this lovely villa. Location was good for us. But I would recommend the use of a car to get around as the walk back to the villa from the town or the beach is mostly uphill. The villa is less than 1/2 an hour walk from the balcon. The owner was very helpful and friendly, also easily contactable. The 1 minor negative would be the fact that there were no cleaning products of any kind or basic staples ie water, tea, coffee, salt and pepper etc. Which meant we had to do a shop upon arrival. This wouldn't stop us staying again everything else was perfect and would highly recommend.
