This welcoming beach home is one row back from the ocean, located at milepost 21 in South Nags Head. It is just a 3-minute walk—about 150 yards—to the beach access, with beautiful ocean and sound views from the sunrooms and newly updated decks.
The home sleeps up to 8 guests and includes 4 bedrooms: one king bedroom with en suite bathroom, one queen bedroom, one double bedroom, and one bedroom with twin beds. There are 3 bathrooms total.
The open-concept main floor features attractive new luxury vinyl plank flooring in grey ash, a new dining table for six, four new barstools, and an additional sunroom table seating four. The kitchen has brand-new appliances.
Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of 2 dogs and a $100 fee per dog.
Enjoy surf fishing nearby, fishing and crabbing in the sound, and easy access to Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, Nags Head Fishing Pier, Fish Heads Bar & Grill, Sam & Omie’s, Tanger Outlets, go-karting, Manteo, and The Lost Colony outdoor drama.

We have stayed at this cottage before we love it.the location is quiet, yet near Oregon inlet and wanchese and Manteo. It is restful just being there. I wish I were back there now. The handyman is personable, and very knowledgable. It cheers us up to talk with him every year. The kitchen is well equipped, and everything was clean. My idea of a vacation is a little fishing, walks on the beach, reading,k and being with my family away from the hustle and bustle. Nags Tale provides that for us. I hope to be able to get there next year.T. H. Jones

Tons of space and great beach access. The outdoor shower was clutch and we used it all the time. Plenty of room for the kids to play outside.

Laila & Ridley did not disappoint! The house is lovely, loaded with paintings and treasures from all over the world...plenty of room and had everything we might have needed. Short walk to the beach, doggies loved ! So did Mom & Dad Very quiet neighborhood...ventured out each day, everything was within a 15 minute drive. Would definitely rent again!

The house is in a great location and access to the beach is nearby. Shopping and great restaurants are near in the Whalebone area and also Manteo.I would recommend up grading the grill, perhaps buying a combo k-cup/coffee pot coffee maker and including a griddle or a large frying pan to assist in cooking for large families. There was insufficient paper towels and toilet paper which we bought and left at the house.Overall, we were happy with the accommodations.
