The accommodation is located in a quiet and pleasant pedestrian street in the immediate vicinity of the historic center of the city and all the shops and accessible by car to unload luggage. It is located 15 minutes walk from the train station.
It is located on the 1st floor of a house with 2 apartments, offering easy parking nearby within a radius of 200 meters.
The apartment consists of a kitchen for 3 people, 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room for 6 people maximum, is bright, spacious and comfortable.
The kitchen is very functional and fully equipped, the apartment is equipped with wifi, a tv 100 cm and a stereo, the bathroom has a walk-in shower of 90 cm x 90 cm , a washing machine and a tumble dryer, all furniture and layout is new and in immaculate condition.

Claude was a heloful host once we found how to get there. Older apartment but well supplied and very convenient to old town Colmar

To stay in a half timbered house (maison à colombage) that is over 400 years old was amazing. Monsieur Daessle, our host, was superb. Mr. Daessle grew up in this house and it has been in the family several generations. Because of this we knew that the place was well taken care off. All the amenities you need and the kitchen has the basics to make an Alsace meal. Monoprix is about 5 easy blocks for all you grocery needs. The half timbered home is in a quiet street just 20 paces from all the action (restaurants and shopping). I would definitely stay here again. Colmar is the larger of the quaint and beautiful little towns in the Alsace region and it was a perfect base to tool around in the other little beautiful towns. Merci Beaucoup Monsieur Daessle for making our stay wonderful and please tell Madame Daessle know that her tart was delicious and a classy welcome touch.

Claude’s apartment was lovely with lots of character and a nice mix of old and new. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is ideal and we would happily stay there again.

First, we loved Colmar! 🇫🇷
On arrival, Claude was very nice. However, he told us we were double-booked (I booked five months ahead of time).
We had to stay in "his" flat and a room across the hall. The room across the hall did not have a bathroom. The bath was located in his flat and in the other bathroom. It was very inconvenient, to say the least!
We didn't spend much time in his flat because we didn't feel comfortable.
Also, the picture on the site is a little misleading. The flat is not on the river.
Check-out was okay, but we felt rushed because Claude wanted back into his flat.
