Summary:
Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun and relaxation. Set on the edge of Buxton, in the beautiful Peak District, Ascot House is the perfect base for exploring, gathering friends and family and escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With views out onto the hills, a spacious garden and a log burner you will be set for all seasons!
The space is well setup for a gathering of friends and family, young and old, including your furry four-legged friends.
The Space:
This rural retreat provides everything you would want for a get away with your friends and family. The house itself is a large, detached building set on the outskirts of Buxton with views over the fields and often visited by varied wildlife including pheasants, birds and sheep from over the fence!

Gym - sofa bed - Please note, this isn't the most comfortable bed or space, but it does allow for a13th person at a push!
LIVING AREAS:
There are two living spaces. A large and comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove, a sumptuous corner sofa to take in the views, a puzzle table and a Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer and more.
Then there is the snug, a place for quiet reading or sitting with a cup of tea enjoying the serenity of the space. (This room can also be used as an extra bedroom if needed).
KITCHEN/DINING FACILITIES:
The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials needed to cook an array of meals whilst away in the countryside as well as a beautiful farmhouse table to eat them at. There is a double oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher.
BATHROOMS/TOILETS:
There is one bathroom and two en-suites upstairs and one toilet located on the ground floor. The bathroom benefits from a bath and a separate shower whilst the en-suites have showers (one is electric).
THE GARDEN:
The garden has plenty of space to relax and play. There is a deck, a large open grass area and there is also a pond. NB/ if you have small children please take note - there is a pond.
Guest Access:
We operate on self-check-in/out so you can come and go as you please.

We want to make your stay as hassle-free as possible and can be contacted via Airbnb or by email & phone.
Getting Around:
It is a 20 minute walk into town or a £6 taxi ride. There is also the 76 bus which comes four times a day.

*This property is not suitable for parties & events unless agreed upon before booking!
*This is a breach of house rules & will result in immediate removal from the property via security and no refund, your deposit may be used towards extra costs in removing you.
*We have a strict NO-SMOKING indoors policy at our properties. A standard charge of £1000 will be charged to your card when we find evidence of smoking within the accommodation to cover cleaning costs and long-lasting damage on the property.
*Any loud music, parties, and smoking indoors will also result in immediate removal from the accommodation as we will be highlighted via our noise and air monitoring systems located in the property.
*For stays longer than a week, additional housekeeping is arranged for a further fee.
*Please Note: The hot tub is an additional cost, please enquire for details of availability and pricing.
We require completion of our online booking-in form which includes an agreement to our T&Cs, provision of a UK government-issued photo ID or passport, and a card pre-authorisation of £250 for potential damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs. We will not charge an amount from the £250 unless upon checkout there is evidence of damage, loss, or lack of adherence to our T&Cs.

We hire the tub in from a local hot tub hire company.
That our gives guests the option of a tub and, if they don't particularly want one, they aren't paying more for their accommodation because one exists.
This keeps our accommodation prices reasonable and make the hot tub optional.
£60 per night with a cap of £200
NB/ We usually require at least 7 days notice to ensure hot tub availability.

PARKING:
The property has a spacious driveway that can accommodate up to 7 cars. Parking may require a little thoughtful arrangement, so please park considerately to make the most of the space.
PET RESTRICTIONS:
Pets are allowed to stay for a standard fee of £25 per pet. A maximum of 2 pets can stay at once. Please note animals are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING POLICY:
To ensure we maintain the property's high standards and maximise guest experience, we require weekly cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (10+ nights stay) at an additional cost. Lovely home for large families, plenty of space both inside and out with a scenic view. The kitchen is stocked well with utensils, pans and plates with several dishwasher tablets (usually only come with 1!) we needed to use it each day. Easy to find and instructions were straight forward. Space for 5 cars on the driveway if you are good at manoeuvring.
