This beautiful romantic cottage sits high on 318' of direct water frontage overlooking Frenchman's Bay. It has 3 bedroom, living room (2 48" flatscreen TV) with new L/P fireplace, dining area, new kitchen, 2 full baths, and a suite/sitting room in the lower level with fireplace. The home has new carpet in the bedrooms and beautiful wide plank floors. It is fully furnished and applianced, with washer dryer in the basement, and a new wrap-around deck with doors off the master bedroom and the living room. It is warm and enthralling. It is tranquil and peaceful, a romantic honeymoon get-away, just the place for sunset walks on the private beach. There could be fresh lobster delivered to the door by local fisherman, day trips to Bar Harbor, Machias, Bangor and Belfast, kayak tours from private beach, cable tv, wi-fi internet, a great place for photography, oceanographers and naturalists – see seals, sea birds and eagles. Check in is 3pm Saturday and check out is 10:30 am Saturday.
**There is a $100.00 non refundable deposit for the extra cleaning after a pet stay. This deposit is due on arrival and will be returned 3-4 days after departure, to ensure no damage done. Policy is very easy and considerate! No dogs without a pet deposit (Booth rule).
**Rental rate includes almost $300.00 between cleaning and taxes!
Pet policy
1.flea inspector tion with negative report with 7 days of arrival.
2. No wet dogs in house. They must be washed and dried before they can come in. I have a hose by front door.
Clean up all pop immediately and put I to dumpster in a small plastic baf.
3. No dogs on furniture.
4. Bring your own doggie linens.
5. Up to date on all shots.
6. Dogs must be up to date on all shots.
7. All dogs on leash while on my property.
8. No dogs without a pet deposit. Irregardless of size. Little dogs scratch at the screen door, and screen needs to be replaced. Ml
9. No barking dogs.
10. Leave no trace

The cottage was adorable, clean and thoughtfully laid out. It was very roomy for our family of four, so we each had our own bedroom; There are 3 bedrooms but my son, who is small chose to use the extra tv room with the futon as his room. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen as we like to do most of our own cooking. Our favorite thing was the view from almost every room, the ocean was greeting us morning and night. It was a perfect peaceful retreat from our busy days exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do, and away from the hustle and bustle, yet grocery stores and restaurants within easy reach too. The host was very attentive to our needs. We did reach out once as we couldn’t figure out how to turn the gas fireplace on, and she sent her handyman out the same day. We also noticed another home next door that could be rented out as well, and thought it would be a wonderful opportunity for a larger family to rent the both of them. If we were to come back to the area, I would definitely look for this cottage again.

Judy is an amazing host! She makes personal phone calls to make sure everything is perfect. She also provides great ideas for places see and restaurants. The house was clean and the view off the deck was amazing! Truly recommend staying in this residence.

beautiful view and porch. owner very attentive. place could have been cleaner! We cleaned the kitchen up but alot of spider webs in bathrooms.
