Very spacious and high quality 2 double bedroom/2 bathroom completely independent apartment, recently refurbished master bedroom, located on the entire bottom floor of a large villa with a stunning 1800 square meter garden (ideal playing space for children). The owners live in a separate part of Villa Juana and respect the tenants privacy during their stay (as is confirmed by our reviews). This property is unique as you have the luxury of renting a villa type property at apartment prices! The property also includes a garage, a non-heated swimming pool and barbecue. The apartment, garden, lower balcony, pool and garage (for one car) are not utilised by any other tenants during your stay. The pool is also not utilised by the owners when tenants are at the property. The pool is in use and cleaned from April 1st to October 31st and the bottom was retiled in January 2026! The pool measures 8m in length and 4m in width and is a maximum of 2m depth at the far end.
Fantastic sea and mountain views. One of the most "rural" areas of the Costa del Sol. The villa is located in an exclusive urbanization with excellent/easy access from the main coast road and is literally a stone's throw from the beach. The property is fully enclosed and safe for children. Very quiet and peaceful area but still only a 10minute drive or easy bus ride to urban centers such as benalmadena costa or fuengirola. The property is located right next to the coast road/beach and is approximately 200m up a steep hill from the n-340.
Is renting a car necessary?: Although a car is recommended for site seeing, it is not required. All the essentials are within a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the villa.
Train station at Torremuelle: 15 minutes good pace yet hilly walk (Malaga to Fuengirola). You need reasonable fitness to complete this walk to the train station but if this is not possible a local taxi ride costs 5-6 euros as of April 2026.
Bus stop: 5 minutes walk (Malaga to Marbella);
Beach: 15 minutes walk;
Supermarket (open 7 days a week): 10 minutes;
Restaurants/bars: 10 minutes;
More information on the local area: The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful, quiet and less urbanized areas of the Costa del Sol. The main street outside the house is a windy and scenic 2km route up to the idyllic Benalmadena Pueblo (local village). If you enjoy walking/hiking, it is a very enjoyable 25-30min walk up to the village. Once in the village, you have panoramic views of the whole area and there are plenty of options for eating, drinking and you can find all the services of a normal town (ie. supermarket, banks, post office).
If you walk in the other direction (south), you will find yourself on the beach within 5 minutes. Once on the coast road, you can enjoy a walk either west or east in which you have beach after beach to choose from .
What to do?: When staying at Villa Juana, you can spend your whole time relaxing around your private terrace/balcony/pool and garden. For the more adventurous, there is plenty to see both culturally and nature wise in and around the province of Malaga.
If you rent a car, within a one hour drive you can enjoy scenic drives that lead you to beautiful Andalusian mountain village such as Mijas and Ronda. For those who thoroughly enjoy unspoiled/protected beaches, within a 45 minute drive East of Villa Juana are the wonderful beaches of Nerja.
For those who are into sporting activities, it is very easy to go hiking around the area as it is surrounding by local mountain and hiking paths.
Culturally, an easy/cheap train ride to Malaga centre has a lot to offer: from Moorish ruins, a Roman amphitheatre, a wonderful cathedral, the museum of Picasso.

This was one of the beautiful villas we’ve stayed in. Communication with Tareq was smooth from the start - everything was clear and easy as soon as we booked, from the address to all the instructions.I stayed with my husband and our two children (16 and 17), and we all felt very comfortable straight away. Even though the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for long swims, we still enjoyed a few quick dips in the pool, which the kids loved.The bedrooms were cosy and well set up. My daughter especially kept mentioning how good the shower was - the water pressure clearly made an impression. WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay.There are plenty of supermarkets and places to eat nearby. We hired a car, which I’d personally recommend if you plan to explore or go out regularly. That said, if your plan is to switch off, enjoy the pool, and just relax in the villa, you really don’t need to go far at all.We didn’t cook full meals, but the kitchen looked fully equipped with everything you’d need if you wanted to.The villa itself was very clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into - it had that “feel at home” quality, which you don’t always get.One small thing to note - it might be seasonal, but there were a few mosquitoes, so it’s worth bringing or picking up some repellent.Overall, a genuinely lovely stay. We’d happily come back again.

The apartment was lovely. Pervious reviews comment that its a bit tired ,maybe it is a little but honestly it just adds to its charm. We loved it and enjoyed our stay. Much appreciation to Tareq whilst on holiday with his family took us to the supermarket in the most horrendous storm. Sonia was also a superstar xx

Our second stay here. We love the peace and tranquility. A beautiful setting overlooking the Med. The apartment has everything you need. Sonia and Tasir are so friendly and so helpful. We will be back. Exactly what was needed after a busy stressful period at work. The perfect place to unwind, chill and recharge.

PositivesCommunication with Sonia was good through WhatsApp – quick and helpful replies throughout our stay. Sonia even made us a lovely cake.The apartment was well stocked with washing-up liquid, hand soap, and toilet rolls.The kitchen had everything we needed – plenty of crockery, utensils, Comfortable beds had a good night’s sleep.Beautiful views from the poolside – a real highlight of the property.Downsides Towels were limited; we had to wash them daily. There are no separate towels for pool use, and you’re not allowed to take the apartment towels outside. Ants in the kitchen meant we had to be careful not to leave food out.The biggest disappointment was the pool. When we asked Taysir about cleaning and filtering, we were told the filters were on a timer. leaves were in the pool from previous storm, and while we were happy to scoop these out, the real issue was the water quality. It wasn’t clear, and the pool didn’t feel clean. On the third day, the filters were left on overnight with added chemicals, and the improvement was huge – but sadly, it was only temporary. Most of the time, the pool water was not crystal clear. We wouldn’t have let children swim for fear of swallowing the water.The outside shower by the pool didn’t work, which added to the frustration. Also, the electric wire comes from inside the pool and lying on top of the poolside. If the maitance of the pool was addressed daily then this would be a good place to stay.
