The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.
If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.
If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.
Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Perfect location with lovely views of the beach, the unit was well set out with plenty of room and was nice and clean. Walking distance to cafes and pub, beach and park. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting South West Rocks.

Perfect location within walking distance of everything you need in SW Rocks. Apartment was roomy, clean and perfect size for a family of four.
