This house is in the Centre of Helmsley within 100m of all the local amenities. The property has just been renovated upstairs to provide ensuite bathrooms to all 3 bedrooms.
The property is a tastefully decorated spacious 3 bedroom cottage. The property has a modern kitchen with all the amenities and utilities that you will require. There is a separate dining room with seating for 8. The sitting room is adjacent with two comfy sofas and two armchairs. There is also the addition of a sunroom on the side of the property with sofas and chairs so you can relax with your wine in the evening sun.
Upstairs there is one bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with 2 divan beds and a third bedroom with 2 single beds. Each bedroom is ensuite with a shower, wc and washbasin, plus bathroom 1 has the addition of a bath. There is a separate loo and washbasin downstairs.
There is a Washing machine, tumble dryer, large freestanding fridge/freezer and a separate fridge.
Towels and bed linen are provided, changed on a weekly basis unless requested otherwise.
Outside there is a private secure garden with outdoor furniture, bbq and a summer house. There is car parking for 2-3 cars in the driveway. It is a lovely homely house, great for couples, families and small groups, who want to explore North Yorkshire. Well behaved dogs are allowed .
It is also ideal for two families that want privacy but can come together for meals etc, if both properties are rented together. It is a very quiet area with great views but close to shops, galleries, restaurants and Duncombe Park

An excellent home and amenities for our visit. The town is also a great place to visit with many eateries, attractions nearby. Amanda was a pleasure to visit with. Thank you for your hospitality

The cottage is in such a good location in Helmsley. We were there for a big family get together and having the dining room with the large table was ideal to host family members staying elsewhere. Lovely spacious and clean rooms with excellent views of the church. Amanda was very helpful.

The property is extremely well situated, minutes from Helmsley centre, with great restaurants & bars, the Black Swan & micro brewery were especially welcoming to new visitors & dogs.
Amanda generously gave us an earlier check in than advertised & she left a hand written card offering a warm welcome & later check out time, a lovely, personal touch.
The property is well equipped, especially the kitchen, has a welcoming, homely feel & is spotlessly clean inside. Due to the time of year, the garden & its furniture could do with a little attention. The wooden furniture looks tired & needs a clean/varnish or replacing.
A property so close to the centre of Helmsley with private parking is a find. The advertising information says parking for 2/3 cars. Parking however could be considered a bit awkward & tight. One parking space is flat through a narrow gate, the second is on the slopped driveway. Parking for 2 medium to large cars or 3 very small cars is more realistic.
The property is an excellent size, with 2 separate sitting rooms & it’s 3 en-suite double rooms could easily accommodate 3 couples or 2 families with children.
The bed linen & towels are excellent quality, everything is impeccably clean but some areas need repairs or replacement. Walls & ceilings have significant cracks & whilst furniture matches the cottages style, it is dated.
Overall this property was a find, with everything we needed,comfortable, clean, warm, close to Helmsley, spacious & welcoming
