The apt is located right in the center of Carcassonne, (walking street)
First time visiting Carcassonne, not aware how narrow the street also the internet signals is weak, the GPS could not work properly. The end result we took almost two hours to get to the apt, this is just the typical situation when traveling to many small city/village in Europe. Nicky was very helpful but with difficulty with internet our message did not go through. One suggestion for future travelers not to rely internet nor GPS when travel by car, it can get very confusing thus stressful for the driver, The best way to avoid such confusion is simply instruct how to get the nearest parking lot, say the street name when entering the city where there are proper sign to follow the parking direction. Just a straight forward sentence stating at the entry of the city and the name of the parking lot closest to the apt.

A nice flat but the pictures make it look better than it is. The building is old and has a horrible smell in the lobby. The flat was very comfortable but could use some upgrades. Location was great for shops and restuarants.
